Snow Canyon Invite (3 Miles) 00:23:58 | | Wasn't a good race for me...but I got 2nd for PV, 5 seconds behind Aubrey. I was a little sick and was coughing during the race. I need to remember to TRUST myself like coach told me and push harder. Our team did great! |
| | I loved the run today! I got to run with the varsity girls and coach roberts. we ran 3 miles to green springs. It was a faster pace than i usually go but it felt good and i think i need to push harder to keep up that same pace. Did four 200's after with coach roberts. | |

I felt that I did good, and what really helped me was the talks we got last night at the team dinner about staying positive and the mental strength. It was a fun course too! The girls on our team really pushed me! | |

| | oh boy! we did a workout today. in the RAIN! Felt so great. I was freezing during pictures and the warmup though. then once we started the workout i felt fine. we did 800, 600, 400, 200, 400, 200. I pushed so i could keep up with Maquel and Aubrey. I even tried to stay with the varsity but they are just too fast! |
| | I think we ran about 4ish miles?? we did hill waves at the middle school and it was a nice run. I really needed to work on pushing up hills more so i am glad we did those. |

It was me, mia, and alli p. it was hard to recover after I ran a 200 cuz my teammates were super fast! It was a good workout, and i felt good today! So excited for state! our team will do awesome! |
| | Ran three 1-mile laps around the high school in salt lake after a long bus ride. It felt super good. Ran alone for first 2 miles till I caught up with Liz, Taylor and Nicole. Then we did striders and those were fun. |
| | My first time doing Sun rise hills! I did 3 of them and they were really hard! hills are really something i need to work on so i guess it is good that we practiced those. I felt kinda sluggish running after the break though. |

After the run we did striders- Mike tells me i land on my heels too hard so I tried to practice running on my toes on these. |

We did a workout at the school where we ran hard 1 min, 2 min, and 3 min, with equal recovery for each. Then went back down starting with another hard 3. I actually liked this workout today. I kept up and ran with Aubrey and Taylor Boyer. Harts warm and cool- I have been feeling so sore since Monday! | |
| | Today was a super fun run! I loved it! I ran with Liz, Aubrey, and Taylor B. We ran 7 miles up foremaster and past the hospital. There was a ton of construction around Fossil Ridge where we ran so that was kinda scary. Today was my first time ever running a 7-mile run! And Tuesday was my first time running a 5-mile run! So I felt like I have ran alot this week. Probably the most I have this whole season. But I am so excited to race at Pre-Footlocker next Saturday! My first varsity race! gonna be great :) | |
| | So today we did a workout- Harts warm/cool except I wasn't able to finish the cool down....but we did a time trial of 2000 meters with a 3 minute recovery then 2x1000's. I got times that were alright, my biggest goal was to stick with Aubrey. She pushed me alot which was good. My 2000 was 8:11 with a split time of 3:50 and 4:21. So that wasn't very consistent. The first 1000 I got 4 minutes and the Second I got 4:08. My breathing was really terrible today! I just hope i will feel better tomorrow! | |

am: This is the first time I have gone to a morning practice. It was super cold! but after the warm up I felt a little better. I finished the michigan and I got B standard! My time was 34:55. I ran by Maquel and we just pushed eachother the whole time. I was hoping I would be able to stay with Chancie though. It was a good workout-hard, but good. Now that I have a time I can have a goal for the next one! |

Pre-Footlocker AFHS (3.15 Miles) 00:24:10, Place overall: 70 | | My first varsity race! We woke up at 6:30 to a yummy breakfast at Taylor B's Grandparents house. We raced at 8:30 and it was brrr chilly. We ran a 2ish-3ish mile warmup and barely made it to the starting line before the gun went off. We started and I focused on not falling away too far from Aubrey and Liz for the first mile and a half. The last half of the race coach roberts and coach holt told me to catch Liz. So I gave it all that I had the last half and finished right after her. It was a fast race and I liked the course alot. Fun being up there with the team :) Looking forward to racing again in a couple weeks in Arizona! |

pm: we had a hard but good workout today. 2 sets of a 1200, 1000, 800, and 600 with 3 minutes for recovery in between each one. Harts warm/cool. I really pushed myself and felt really good! I tried to stay with Kaelie during these and she helped me push harder. My times were pretty good but I was alot slower on the 2nd set than i had hoped. Overall, great workout! |

Time trial! I ran about a mile warm up cuz i was late...but the race felt pretty good. I was just focusing on not letting the gap get big between alli, kaelie, aubrey, and me. After the time trial we ran an easy 2 miles plus 4x200's on the track. My legs felt really tight and painful during those 2 miles but I hung in there! :)

am: ran a cool 3 miles on a sweet trail! i wasn't feeling my best though :( pm: we around the course for about 3 miles then ran some striders. thinking alot about the race. Afterwards we played some fun games of volleyball which I smoked everyone at :)

Nike Cross Regionals (3.1 Miles) 00:22:55, Place overall: 359 | | Before the race we ran the course for almost 3 miles which is a big warm up for me. Race: I felt like I had a good race with one of my better times. The gun went off and for the first mile I tried to not let the gap get too big between Aubrey and I. My first mile time was 7:03 which was alright, I was still feeling good. The second mile, I don't know if I pushed as hard as I could've. But I stuck with a small group of girls to help push me. Aubrey got really far ahead of me but I tried to keep her in sight. My 2 mile time was 14:40 or something like that. I'm not quite sure. The last mile I pushed alot harder and passed the small group i was with and started passing more girls. The last 1000 meters or so i was able to pass about 3 or 4 people and finished strong with a 22:55. I am pretty sure thats a new PR for me! Overall great race and our team did good!

| | This was one of the most hardest and fun run ive done for a long time! For my first time we did the rollercoaster run which was really fun. But the first half I felt really horrible! I think I was just really tired from running over the weekend. I was running really bad but after the rollercoaster part it started to get better. stretched really good afterwards. |

1000's today! We started with harts warmup and then began the workout. I started out fine, feeling good, with a time of 3:45. The next one I fell off my group a little bit and ended with a time of 3:51. The third I pushed a little harder, ended with a 3:51 again. The last one I finished strong with a 3:50. We finished with Harts cooldown. Overall, pretty good workout.

| | am: Mike and I went to the High school and did striders with paul, colton, byron, and abel. IT felt weird doing them before my run. Then I ran 4 to starbucks by myself while mike did 5 to target. I felt so great during this run! pm: Ran a good pace for 3 miles with Michael. He's not too shabby :) We talked alot about Footlocker. I am so excited for it!

Footlocker regionals Soph/Fresh (3 Miles) 00:22:24, Place overall: 82, Place in age division: 38 | | Footlocker race! I PR'd by alot, felt great, and had fun. The course was so fun just because it was different. I didn't do as good on the uphills, but I killed the downhills. Nicole and I were together almost the whole time. She passed me on uphills, I passed her on the down:) Super fun trip and great race to end the season. | |
