5x800's, 40 minutes - This was pretty hard for me today. I was definitely not feeling good. I ran 2 then took a break, then another and a break, and the last 2. I especially didn't do well mentally today. Hopefully I be much better tomorrow!
Race was good. I am happy with how I did, even though Caroline bumped me off of varsity :) but the girls on our team pushed me a ton and i didn't get passed throughout the whole race. I just kept a good hard pace for myself and kept passing girls one by one. Time was 22:37, 13 seconds off of my PR from freshman year. So I'm getting there! Fun day.
Today was a little frustrating... My leg hurt the same spot where my stress fracture was. I took it really slow today, i was really tired and a little upset that my shin was bugging me. No striders, but iced and did weights after.
4x1000's - 40 minutes - Pretty good workout. Carli and Macey pushed me a lot and it was fun to run and hit the same times with them. Goal time: 5:21. Times: 5:21, 5:10, 5:20, 5:23. Not too shabby. Excited for tomorrow, relays are loads of fun!
Tons of fun! 4 miles and 2 400's with lotsa running in between with frisbee and soccer n stuff. My shin didn't hurt too bad, i think the track is pretty good for it.
